What is your return policy?
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for candles that have been used. We are eager to assist in replacing or refunding items that have been damaged during transit. Should your candle arrive damaged, please reach out to us at hello@southscent.com.au within 48 hours of delivery, providing evidence of the damage.
What are your shipping lead times?
Standard: Metro areas in Australia lead time estimated: 2-7 days.
Express: Within Australia lead time estimated 1-3 days.

Are South Scent jars reusable?
Yes! You can reuse your ceramic South Scent Jars. Once you burn the candle down to the bottom, you can add boiling water and wait for the water to cool, the left over wax will rise to the top for an easy clean.
How do I care for my candle and get the best burn?
Please make sure your wick is always trimmed, each time before relighting be sure to trim the charred top off the wooden wick for a clean burn.
Please allow the wax to pool to the edges before diffusing your candle, this will avoid tunneling as the wax has memory.
Please do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time and avoid lighting near any drafts.
If your wick will not stay lit, it is probably too short and drowning in the wax, please be sure to keep the wick at around 4mm, pour some wax out and try again.
Why has the surface of the wax dried bumpy?
If your candle has dried bumpy, do not worry! This is how you know that our wax is 100% natural soy, it won't effect the performance of your beautiful smelling candle.
Can I trust my candle is cruelty free?
South Scent candles are hand poured with 100% natural soy wax.
Our wooden booster wicks are ethically sourced from FSC-certified mills.
All of our high quality fragrances are cruelty free, paraben free and phthalate free.
